The standing kill is the best way to learn how to kill scouts, and can be used as a very reliable substitute to the sprint-aggravated method if done properly. Timed, crouched, standing, and opportunistic kills are good ways to kill scouts if a room is crowded or the opportunity arises. Sprint-aggravated is the most important kill method, as it's far more reliable than anything else. Most of your scout kills should be covered either by sprint-aggravated kills or a combination of standing and timed kills, since those methods or combinations of methods allow the player to kill or prepare to kill a scout that's in the open at almost any time while it's walking around. I will be focusing on the methods, tools, and weapons I believe to be the most reliable, and leaving out methods, tools, and weapons I think are risky or impractical. There are also several ways of going about killing scouts with just a hammer, which is the most cost effective method if you can manage it. Scouts can be made very easy to kill with the help of guns and c-foam, albeit with a cost to resources. This is probably one of the more important skills to pick up for the lower tiers of every rundown, as scouts are very prevalent on expeditions with difficult stealth.
